So we have our top 24, and there are quite a few I like with a definite favorite to win, and definite favorite girl and boy. And a few I don't like. Of course.

I didn't finish the episode, but I think it's safe to say that I'm quite enjoying the new panel. I feel like Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are doing great, along with Randy. It doesn't feel awkward or as if something is wrong or missing. I've always maintained it was about the contestants, the format, etc. and not Simon Cowell. And actually ( Read more... )

Eh, figured I'd talk about American Idol tonight ... So I know who I want in the final three, and only one has an almost 100% shot of being there, another has a pretty good shot, and the third, well, let's not even talk about those odds. I really, really have issues with their supposed theme weeks lately because they are not theme weeks. They are one group/artist and that is simply NOT fair to all contestants because people sing differently. I don't care how big their catalogue is, it's still the same person singing/group performing. Go back to motown, broadway, country, etc. ( Read more... )
